=How hard is it to get into the company?\nIs it very competitive within the company??>
Base salary is around $65,000 with around $15,000 of bonus after 6 months. Interns gets paid around $700/wk. It's decent compensation. But considering the number of hours put in, it's about average.
It's a typical I-Banking interview process. First, there is a phone interview or an on campus interview. This is mostly behavioral questions to get a general feel of the candidate. Then, it moves onto the super interview day. It's generally about 5 to 8 interviews with a range of people. In this round it's generally technical questions mixed with whatever the interviewer feels like to ask. Be sure to know the firm and know what you are talking about. Also, be sure to practice interviews before hand so you are fully prepared. In general, this process is pretty rough and competitive.
