BDO is a great company to work for because the people are great, there are opportunities for growth, and BDO helps you study for your CPA exams. You get great face time with Managers and Executives of the company so you can learn and grow quickly from them.
You can quickly move up BDO if you show your hard work and ability to create value. You do not have to wait for a certain "window of opportunity." If you deserve a promotion, then you will most likely get one.
BDO is one of the top account firms, and is therefore difficult to get in. It is not top notch but you still need to have your fair share of ability, sociabiliy, and impressiveness.
The work is stressful, but it's all worth while because I enjoy the people that I work with. The dress is business casual around the office, and we go to dinners and happy hours after work all the time.
