The culture here is very favorable. There is great gender diversity (although less ethnic diversity) and woman hold high level positions in the firm. Managers seem to always treat their people with respect, and people work together in a healthy and constructive fashion. Attire is business casual, but there are often occasions where employees need to dress in business professional. Overall a great environment!

The work is pretty decent at Wells Fargo. It is usually a 40 hour mandated work week, but most of the time employees work 50-65 hours on their own so they could finish more work or learn more. With strong training, the work is usually quite intense, but quite satisfying when you have mastered the ropes.

Wells Fargo is VERY competitive. They usually let you go through a 3-5 round interview, talking to 6-10 people. They ask very technical questions and make sure you are able to sell. Being one of the "Good to Great" companies, they are very careful on who they hire. That is why they were able to minimize the damage of the Subprime Mortgage crisis that knocked back some of their competitors.

The compensation here is quite good. Everyone gets paid quite competitively, and has a nice stellar benefits plan. Training is top-par, especially with their IT system that allows you to be trained online in all aspects. Overall, you won't be disgruntled with what you get in this firm.

Excellent company with great work/life balance. Definitely one of the most unique and special banks to work at.
