Unlike other big strategy firms, we don't get much face-time with our clients. We only go to the client site when it is needed - to gather information or to present our recommendations. This is great for me because travel can be very exhausting at times. Depending on your office, travel can be in the local city or across the country.

The company is a pure up or out policy. If you work hard and demonstrate your capabilities, then you will be immediately rewarded. It is quite stressful at times because if you don't perform well, you definitely will here about it. Overall, I think this is the best policy for a company because it keeps everyone honest with their work and always performing at their best.

I am a Consultant and get paid a salary of 140K and bonus of 80K.

The work here is very demanding and it can get quite stressful. There is not a lot of travel, although you will travel an average of about twice a week depending on your project.
