The work was enjoyable in all the positions I had at UCLA. I think I was fortunate, however, because I have had a lot of friends and acquaintances who absolutely hated their on-campus jobs but were unable to find anywhere else they could go!
My managers/bosses were always very fair and their trust and respect towards their employees only made us work harder.

I worked 4 jobs at UCLA and in each of them I think the compensation was very fair. Of the three part-time positions I had, 2 of them were paid and those both paid over $11 an hour. The other was the Resident Assistant position and had paid housing and meals - which, depending upon your housing location - is anywhere between $9,000 to $15,000.
