=An overall view of AT&T Wireless Services?>
For people in the stores, the hourly rate is around the teens. Average salary for corporate level client managements it's around $40,000 in salary and $60,000 for managers with year end bonuses. And of course, there's the employee phone plan, which is free.
Advancement opportunities are very good. You can advancement into management within two years. When you hit the glass ceiling, there are opportunities to send you back to school and educate yourself so you can get past the glass ceiling.
The culture is relaxed and friendly. There are great social events for people to get to know each other. The management makes the effort to get to know employees. There are weekly meetings for employees to ask questions about the management. It's a very pleasant place to work.
It's really competitive business both internally and externally. The quota can be unreasonably high sometimes. There has been instance where managers were fired every few months because they were unable to hit the mark. Externally, there are a lot of competitors out there. It's difficult on the sales side of this business.
Work level depends on the season. It's really busy during holiday seasons. Other than some weird hours (like working during weekends) it's a nice place to work. Workload is not too heavy and often times it's rather laid back.
