I really enjoyed my work at Southern Company. I was a full-time Co-Op during my Junior year of college. My manager and other employees all treated me with respect; I never felt like I was simply a "Co-Op". In fact, even the upper and c-level management was extremely nice and open to conversation. I was thrilled when I was able to speak to the CFO. I believe I got the best work experience ever at Southern as I worked side by side or indivdiually on projects that really held weight within the Company. I would recommend an internship or Co-Op at Southern Company to anyone interested in finance, treasury, or planning.
