During the busy seasons, expect to work 60-70 hour work weeks. Also, don't expect to take time off or vacations during the busy season. If it's not the busy season, PWC highly encourages you to take your time off. Working weekends also only happens during the busy season.
I was hired in 2003 as a Tax Associate. My salary was 49K with a signing bonus of 3K.
Salary Compensation as a Second Year in Los Angeles Assurance:
3 Rated (fully as expected): 52K, which was a 4K(8%) raise from 48K.

I was hired in 2003 in the Assurance practice. I was given a salary of 62K with a signing bonus of 8K. Not too bad at all
Company culture varies greatly depending on the office location. Some teams enjoy coming into the office early and leaving early. Other prefer to opposite and come in late and leave late. It is up to you to gauge your teams preference and adjust accordingly. On average, I work about 9 - 10 hour days.
