Because of Sarbanes-Oxley, PWC has been hiring like crazy. The unfortunate thing is that i feel that I am much smarter, harder working, and overall, a better professional than my peers. Don't get me wrong, I feel that they are great people, but that this job has just become too easy to get into. This is a big turn off for me and has lowered my moral.
To be honest, I thought I would be working a lot less hours than I'm currently working. I work 50-60 hours a week on average! I thought audit would be easy, but it seems that the work I'm doing is tough, and the company is very competitive.
Big 4 are pretty much all the same. If you've worked at one, then you have pretty much experienced life with the other three. Structure, pay, the people, and the cultures are all the same.
