The culture at the office is very young and fun. The people that I work with have high energy and we constantly go out on the town for happy hour. I have even met up with my coworkers on the weekends. There are many office events and we even get free sports tickets from the company.

Travel greatly depends on the project that you are staffed on. Most of the work is done at the office. If your office does not have much work, then you will be flown out to cities across the nation to help out busier offices. The great thing is that Navigant pays for everything, so it's like a mini trip to another city. You'll work at another office for four days and fly back home on the fifth.

Dress is very relaxed at Navigant. Business casual around the office and casual days on Fridays where we're allowed to wear jeans. I work an average of 55 hours a week, which is very good for a consulting firm.

There are some great online training programs that Navigant offers. You can learn many new technical skills on your own when you have down time or when you are in-between projects.

I was hired in 2007 as a first year consultant. I made $55,000 coming out of college and was given a $3,000 signing bonus. I felt this was very competitive and excellent pay for coming out of your undergrad. You also get 2 floating holidays throughout the year and I believe 3 weeks of vacation time.
