Professionals working in Retirement have client interaction once they have worked 3 to 5 years with the company. Professionals in the Health & Benefits side interact with clients much more often and at a lower level within the company.
IT Operations
There is very little training at Aon. Most of what you will learn is on-the-job training. You are expected to do things right the first time, even though you have never been trained how to do it. This was very frustrating to me. People in the company will report you if you do something wrong, but will do close to nothing if you do something right. It is very discouraging in this company.
The work is fast-paced, you will have a lot of responsibility, and you will be extremely busy. I work in the Healthcare area and we must be able to work independently, and at the same time, cooperate with team members to accomplish our project goals. We are not required to work overtime hours unless there is a project deadline coming up.
