We get flex hours and we get paid-time-off. However, I have noticed that Managers and Partners look down on you if you use your benefits. If you want to grow within the company, you need to work extremely hard and not take your PTO.
I came in as an Associate and made Manager within 5 years. It wasn't that hard, all you have to do is do your work right and you'll be promoted quite easily. I feel that in order to make it to Partner, you have to be part of the political game. The level of Partner is not just awarded to hardworkers, but the Partners themselves must favor you.
