Depending on the group you are in, the culture is significantly different. There are overarching guiding principles across the firm but within your group, there is much freedom to voice yourself and make a name for yourself. As in any other firm, you have to know the players and make the right moves. It's a bureaucratic corporation.

The people in the office are great. Everyone is friendly and easy to get along with. I'm a second year at the company and I am friends with everyone at my same level. However, I am not close with any of the Management. They usually keep to themselves and hang out with other management only.

The culture is not great at this company. You have no freedom to go above and beyond in your position because you must do everything the GT way. Any effort to try to make things run more efficiently or try to do something a different way is frowned upon.

I felt like the company culture was constantly changing around me. There seems to be a lack of training in the company and not many professionals have GT pride.
