Compensation is extremely low and very unbalanced between people and departments. Supervisors and sometimes Managers only make in the low 40's. Entry level college graduates are "lucky" to make 30,000 a year.

I work for Fox Sports Networks in Houston/The Woodlands. This is a very big and fancy looking company. The benefits are excellent and building is very pretty but the pay is terrible. People with graduate degree are making as little as 12 dollars an hour and pay on the high end is considered 15 dollars an hour. HR and the "recruitment staff" make up their own pay scale depending on the day. Favors are constantly exchanged and petty drama rules the place. Upper management takes an "ivory tower" attitude to pretty much everything and you will only become a supervisor if you learn how to be petty and kiss a$$
