I interned for Deloitte Tax the summer of 2007. I was paid $22.50 per hour and received time and a half for overtime work. After my internship, I was offered a full time position with a salary of 50K and a signing bonus of 5K.

It was the summer between my junior and senior year. I interned at the LA office. Are you interested in interning with Deloitte?

I believe it is a law that companies offer time and a half to full-time employees. So that is to be expected anywhere. However $22.50/hour is awesome. What year in school were you when you interned?

Deloitte offers great career advancement opportunities and also some amazing training. A few weeks into the job, I was flown out with all of my peers to get trained with analysts from all across the nation. It was extremely fun getting to meet everyone and establishing that sense of family within the company. I really feel that Deloitte cares for me.

Compensation is decent at best compared to all of the other bg four. We get our end-of-year bonus (that is less than stellar), a pat on the back for doing a good job, and reimbursements seem like it takes way too many weeks to get back to me. As far as I'm concerned, the pay is average and i could go for some more bonuses.

In 2006, I was hired as a Senior Tax Consultant. My starting pay was 65K with a signing bonus of 5K. My first raise came pretty quick actually. 7 months after I was hired, I got paid 70K. One year later, my second raise put me at 72K. Guess the second raise wasn't as great.

In 2003, I was hired as a manager with a base salary of 87K. There were 7 paid firm holidays, and about 28 days of vacation that I took full advantage of. When you travel, Deloitte takes care of food, transportation, hotels, and pretty much everything else. We call it Uncle D. Health benefits are great as well. They definitely take care of you at Deloitte.
